Second Best Running Song of the Second Half of 2021

It is true serendipity.

I am always on the lookout for new songs, especially to run to. While watching one episode of Modern Family at 5.30 PM (whenever Sana is home, this is a ritual while having tea with Bijal), there was talk of finding old Hoobastank tapes or CDs in the basement.

I remembered the song “Out of Control” that I have had on my running playlist for years.

Spotify lists the top songs of every artist, and the first songs is “The Reason”. I first played it while we were playing cards at 8 PM and I loved it. Ever since, along with Zombie from Cranberries, it has been my favorite song to run to in the latter half of 2021.
