Once I finished reading all the Foundation books over the last two months, I started with the space dramas set in the early Empire periods where Earth was still a known planet and entity.

I started with Pebble in the Sky and then read this and then moved to The Stars, Like Dust, going backwards, I don’t know why.

I’ve realized now that Asimov did have a “human” problem and his “relationship” dialogues are so stilted. Yet, the whole concept of a man who can feel the “currents of space” but has his mind converted to jelly by a psychic probe is fun and interesting.

It’s so nice to read the words, “spatio-analyst”, “trimensic personification”, for video 3D calls.

An interesting book, if you are an Asimov fan, otherwise not really worth the effort.
