After reading The Currents of Space, I moved onto the first book, The Stars, Like Dust, about a man who is able to thwart a tyrannical ruling clan called the “Tyranni”. It’s interesting really just for historical reasons, because it doesn’t otherwise read too well and again the love relationships are just not well done.
The ending with the whole “democracy” as a means to ruling also doesn’t cut it, because the whole premise of the Foundation series and the Galactic Empire has always been just that… an Empire.
I will now start with the Robot series, but after some time. I want to read other stuff before moving on to more Asimov.
Having said that, the story is still an interesting read.
